Two nights in the on-site farmhouse are included with every package. You arrive the day before, wake up on the property the morning of your wedding, and stay the night after with your closest family and friends. Ella's Vineyard is a working vineyard where Italian varietals are grown, harvested, and bottled right on the property. The estate wines your guests drink at dinner come from the same vines framing your ceremony photos. From the top of the hill, the views stretch across rolling Central Coast terrain in every direction.

Ceremony Under a Centuries-Old Oak Tree

The ceremony site is centered around a 400-year-old oak tree with wooden benches, vineyard backdrops, and panoramic hilltop views. A second ceremony location sits at the highest point of the property with unobstructed views across miles of Central Coast landscape. Both ceremony sites are included with every wedding package. Shuttle service from the parking area to the ceremony and reception is taken care of on the day, so no one has to think about logistics. Ella's Vineyard is also one of the most requested elopement wedding venues in San Luis Obispo. Whether Couples are planning an intimate wedding in San Luis Obispo for 20 guests or a full celebration for 200, the property works just as well for both.


Rustic Barn Wedding Venue Built for a Full Night

The reception space at Ella's Vineyard is one of the most recognized rustic barn wedding venues in San Luis Obispo County. Vintage string lights cover the entire outdoor dining area. The barn opens as the dance floor with a full AV setup, a photobooth with printouts, and a projector for slideshows. The outdoor bar taps estate-grown wines and local craft beers throughout the evening. Lawn space gives guests room to move, play, and stay as long as they like.



The barn is also one of the few fully equipped indoor wedding ceremony venues in San Luis Obispo County when the weather calls for a change of plan. It seats up to 200 guests with the lighting, AV setup, and restrooms already in place.


San Luis Obispo Outdoor Reception Venue With Full Support

Katherine and Josh bring more than 40 combined years of wedding industry experience to every event on this property. Farm tables and crossback chairs are available directly from the venue at rates well below those of outside rental companies. The team handles all setup and breakdown. Couples and their families show up and enjoy the day. The physical work is handled before they arrive and after they leave.


Staff stays on-site throughout the entire event, supporting vendors with power, water, and day-of coordination. Every vendor has what they need to do their best work. Anna, the venue coordinator, stays on property from setup through the last song. She is the reason the reviews mention how smoothly everything ran.

Open Vendor Policy and Flexible Bar Service

Ella's Vineyard operates with a completely open vendor policy. Couples choose their own caterer, florist, photographer, planner, and DJ. Outside catering is welcome. Beer and wine service runs through 9:30 p.m., and two signature cocktails can be served until 8:00 p.m. Two cases of Ella's estate wine are required as part of the package. It is one more way the property shows up in the wedding rather than just hosting it.

Ella’s Vineyard was the most beautiful venue. When we went to look at it I saw the oak tree where ceremonies can be held and I didn’t need to see more. This was it! Katherine and Josh are the most helpful, caring and dedicated people when you choose their venue. The house is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. The wedding went off without a hitch. Everything was gorgeous. The rustic farm tables and chairs were beautiful! There was nothing about our wedding day we would change! We were so happy with everything! I wouldn’t have wanted to get married anywhere else.

Ella's Vineyard is simply amazing (which is an understatement). Josh, Katherine and their team were perfection from beginning to end. The accommodations are definitely worth it and it was amazing to be able to share the weekend in the beautiful house (perfectly decorated by Katherine) with our friends and family. The location and property are simply stunning, beautiful, tranquil and magical, but it's the people that working there that make this place special. They are such a hardworking and gracious team and we can never thank them enough for making our day perfect. We fell in love from the first visit and we will be Ella's Vineyard members for life. This is such a beautiful location, quiet, relaxing, and hills as far as you can see. It is conveniently located in the hills of Creston, a short drive from downtown Paso Robles and Atascadero (where a majority of our guests booked their stays). Josh and Katherine are the owners of this venue and are some of the most genuine, friendly, accommodating and patient people I have met. Choosing your wedding location is the first and most important decision when it comes to wedding planning and we made the best possible choice with Ella's Vineyard. We keep hearing from our guests how amazing our wedding location was! Don't look any further and book this venue as soon as you can because this place is going to become very popular very fast!
