A family-owned estate in Creston on California's Central Coast, your wedding stretches across an entire weekend in a private hilltop vineyard setting. 

Proprietors Katherine and Josh Morris designed it that way on purpose, after more than a decade photographing weddings and watching couples sprint through the most important day of their lives without catching a breath. What they built here is the slower, fuller version of that day.

Your wedding day shouldn't feel like a checkout time is looming. At Ella's Vineyard, you have time to settle in and enjoy the property across the weekend, giving you and the people you love actual time together, not just a few rushed hours between cocktail hour and cleanup.

The Farmhouse Changes Everything

The two-night stay in our 3,000 square foot farmhouse is the detail that surprises couples most. It sleeps up to 14 guests, so your closest people, your mom, your sisters, your best friends, are all under one roof the night before.

No scrambling for same-night cleanup. The morning of your wedding, you walk out onto the wraparound porch with a cup of coffee and look out over 32 acres of rolling hills and a sea of Italian vines. That's how your wedding day starts, unhurried.

Multiple Ceremony Locations, Each Worth the Trip Alone

Our oak tree, estimated to be our 400-year-old oak tree is one of the most meaningful ceremony locations on the property. The farmhouse and vineyards frame the background naturally, and the shade is real and wide. For couples who want elevation, the second ceremony site sits at the highest point of the property. 

From there, the views stretch across miles of rolling hills and vineyards in every direction. The hilltop setting feels private and expansive, with vineyard and rolling hill views in every direction. For current wedding content, use up to 40 guests where applicable. Wooden benches are included at the ceremony site.

Reception Details That Work Hard So You Don't Have To

After the ceremony, the celebration moves to the rustic barn, which opens up as the dance floor.

A photobooth with props is already set up. There's a projector and screen for slideshows and movies, plus wide lawn space for games. Indoor and outdoor restrooms are both on site, including an ADA accessible restroom inside the barn, so nobody's walking far in dress shoes.

Bar, Beverage, and Catering Policy Laid Out Plainly

Beer and wine service runs from after the ceremony through 9:30 pm. Two signature cocktails are permitted from after the ceremony until 8:00 pm. Two cases of wine from our estate winery are required as part of your event.



The tap system is available as an add-on. We have an open vendor policy and allow outside catering, so the food at your wedding comes from whoever you trust most to feed your guests well. Any vendor not on our recommended list needs approval from our venue manager before booking.

Anna Watterworth coordinates and manages events at Ella's Vineyard with more than 10 years of professional wedding industry experience. Couples mention her attentiveness and ability to adapt consistently in their reviews.  The whole team is genuinely present throughout the weekend, and that presence is something you feel.

The rehearsal dinner is part of the weekend too. The barn onsite can be used for an intimate rehearsal dinner or gathering. Possible onsite round tables and cross back chairs are still in the works, so ask our team for the latest availability.

licensed bartender is required. Beer and wine may be served along with two signature cocktails during the four hour service period.

Yes. The property is wheelchair accessible throughout. An ADA accessible restroom is located inside the rustic barn, and outdoor restrooms are also available at the reception site.
