Susan and Mikey’s Vibrant Autumnal Wedding

 

 

Mikey and Susan got married September 12, 2021. It was a day full of celebration, cheer, and most importantly- love.

As everyone was getting ready, the excitement in the house was palpable.

  The stunning bride got her dress from A Heart’s Desire Bridal. It was sophisticated while also holding a youthfulness.

The bridesmaids were all shining in their mismatched but coordinating dresses. Each dress perfectly complemented not only the vibe and color palette of the day, but it allowed each woman to wear a dress that suited them personally.      The groom got his tux from Alain Dupetit. It was a very classic black and white look. 

The groomsmen wore matching suits, with light grey ties.

    After everyone was ready for the day, the couple did a first look down by the old oak tree.

                 

It was a heartfelt and beautiful moment.

Then, group pictures were taken.

Everyone was having such a fun time. You can practically feel the happiness radiating from the pictures.

One of the standout parts of the day were all of the details and the care that went into planning this day. Susan and her bridesmaids put together all of the florals themselves! Sarah Dains was in charge of planning and coordination. All of the rentals were from Zest It Up. The day had a bohemian and earthy vibe, that was fun and playful.

In the calm before the ceremony, the wedding party and family took a moment for a prayer.

Then it was time for the ceremony!

After the ceremony, everyone caught a ride on our shuttle bus up to the house and barn for the reception.

The couple and brilliant photographer Marissa Alvarez took advantage of golden hour on our beautiful property. The talent behind the camera, the natural landscape, and the stunning couple were the perfect recipe for dreamy photos.

Back at the barn, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour before dinner.

Central Coast Tacos catered the event much to the enjoyment of everyone in attendance.

As dinner concluded, speeches began.

Where they raised a glass of wine from Ella’s Vineyard, to the new couple.

After dinner and speeches, the party moved to the dance floor… where everyone remained until the end of the night.

Susan and Mikey shared a romantic first dance.

Both the father daughter dance and mother son dance were sweet and emotional.

That’s when the party began to liven up.

People danced the night away!

When it was time for farewell, Susan and Mikey went out with style.

 

Susan, Mikey, and all of their loved ones embodied an energy and lust for life that was exhilarating to be around. It was an amazing day from start to finish.
